Musical Circles comprises a small core of permanent teachers within their Private Music Tuition studio.
We draw from a register of team members to deliver selected areas of the Early Childhood and In-Schools Music Development programs.
Musical Circles is always keen for highly passionate, dedicated, and skilled, experienced teachers to join our Early Childhood and In-Schools development programs.
If you have experience working with children, communicate easily, and enjoy sharing your musical skills and knowledge, you are welcome to apply for listing on our register.
You must be 20 years or older and possess a minimum of 2 years’ teaching or other appropriate musical experience working with children to apply.
Applications are open continually throughout the year, so if you are interested you are encouraged to submit your covering letter, resume, and supporting documentation (Expression of Interest and Music Skills Summary) and we will place it in our files. We hold interviews regularly and contact successful applicants shortly after interview.
Your covering letter needs to address the selection criteria and you need to state your motivation for wishing to join the Musical Circles register. You are required to identify the specific area(s) of the program to which you believe you would be able to contribute in a professional manner, and also indicate the details of your musical skills (eg: instrumental/vocal/composing and arranging/music technology/conducting/keyboard and guitar skills). Please note that applicants are not expected to have proficiency in all music skill areas.
