Rhythm Games – Instill a secure sense of beat and recognition of basic rhythms by teaching patterns using these five speech cue-based card games that draw on the first five “Come Join Our Musical Journey” story books.  Rote-based learning of word rhythms leads to recognition of these patterns using music notation.  Each reversible card has its appropriate word(ing) on the front and its matching musical pattern on the reverse.  Repeat and master these patterns and then progress to a bingo-like game.

Discs – For learning and mastery of rhythm values and rests, these 54 discs include standard values in Simple and Compound Time.  Learn and recall each value and pattern using a mix of rote recall and time names, then combine discs to form longer patterns.
